Fero was founded in 1990 as a plywood manufacturing business by our late Chairman, M.A.Mohammad. Having interests in logging, roofing tiles, quarrying, and plantations, plywood was a natural extension to his long established businesses. His son Ashraf M.A. completed his post-graduation degree in the United States and joined Fero in 1995. Soon after, Fero started to focus on the door manufacturing business. By 2000, Fero became a completely door focused company. In 1997, Fero joined hands with Peeves Group, headed by the Member of Parliament, P.V. Abdul Wahab.
Today, Feroke Boards is a major player in the specialized door industry, from manufacturing and importing doors to trading door components with international companies like the Masonite Corporation, US, Sauerland Spanplatte, Germany and more, while still providing the best of service to the Indian subcontinent
